Product Description

Ecovonic Compatible

Current cost has produced over half a million energy monitors which have been supplied exclusively to energy providers and have been used to promote green tariffs. Now, they are available to anyone through a small set of retail partners and we are proud to be one of them.
The Current Cost CC128 Envi has been designed to help you stop wasting energy and therefore money. It features a large display showing the real time watts and monetary cost as well as a bar graph showing previous periods. One of the main features is the ability to connect it to a PC and extract both real time and historic data.

The CC128 Envi was designed from the outset to be consumer friendly. It has a large mains powered display and an easy to fit sensor and transmitter. All the features you’d expect from an energy monitor are there including usage and cost but it also has some unique features including a bar graph history, the ability to connect to PC and the capability of displaying and storing data from up to nine individual appliance modules (coming soon...)

How it works
The sensor is clamped around the live feed to want to monitor, usually the cable coming out of the electricity meter. The signal from the transmitter is then received by the main display which can be up to 30m away indoors. Later this year, when the individual appliance modules become available, they can be plugged into a standard 13A socket and the appliance to be monitored plugged into them. They will then transmit the energy usage back to the main unit where it is stored and displayed. The PC interface transmits an XML based data feed which can be read by a variety of software.

Key Features
Transmitter has seven year battery life.

Individual appliance modules available soon
XML data feed
Seven years of data is held and can be downloaded
