Product Description

This new monitor from Current Cost is set to replace the Envi CC128 monitor.

It still has all the great features of the Current Cost Envi CC128 that we have come to love, but boasts an array of new benefits! More...When teamed with Current Cost's Individual Appliance Monitors (IAM) the EnviR can monitor up to nine separate appliances within the home. This is by far their most intelligent monitor yet built with C2 technology making it able to communicate with existing Current Cost Networks. Users not only have the capability to monitor their water, gas and electricity usage but pairing the EnviR with the Current Cost Bridge allows data access anywhere, anytime via the internet.Brighten up your room... When you buy the EnviR in white it comes with three coloured fascias to suit your mood! How it worksThe sensor is clamped around the live feed to want to monitor, usually the cable coming out of the electricity meter. The signal from the transmitter is then received by the main display which can be up to 30m away indoors. Individual Appliance modules (available now) can be plugged into a standard 13A socket and the appliance to be monitored plugged into them. They will then transmit the energy usage back to the main unit where it is stored and displayed. The PC interface transmits an XML based data feed which can be read by a variety of software.

  1. One of the best on the market

Posted by Alison Harper on 27th Aug 2011

Good clear display, easy to setup and comes with a built in PC interface. Just a pity it's not battery powered as well but I couldn't justify knocking a star off for that.

  2. Great with the Bridge

Posted by Kevin Devine on 25th Aug 2011

I bought this and the Bridge together to monitor one of my cottages. The display is very clear and once connected to the Bridge it allows me to monitor the electricity remotely.
